Memorial Day weekend is here! We hope you are ready for another fun and exciting summer at the pool.

Our summer staff should all be familiar faces. Amy Archer is returning as Pool Manager for her second summer. We are lucky that many of our guards return each season. This year we have 8 returning guards and most of our staff comes from member families. We are very proud of these young ladies and gentlemen. Please give the guards your support as they are here to keep us and our children safe.

A special “thank you” goes out to our members who have invited friends and family to join our pool. To date, we have had 6 applications sent in for new memberships! Remember, any active bondholder that recruits a new family to North Star pool for the 2008 season will have their $50 assessment fee refunded. Don’t forget that we have our annual Open House on Monday, May 26! Your guests are welcome to enjoy our beautiful club for the day – and no Guest fees are charged.

It takes a lot of work to get the North Star pool ready. Over 25 families have helped landscape, paint, pull weeds and trim the trees during our Spring Clean Up Days. We appreciate the time and energy you put into making our club shine!

Pool directories will be available at the guard office once the pool opens. Please take a few moments to review the Pool Rules printed inside. Also, be respectful of neighbors who live near the pool and slow down as you are driving to the pool! Let’s all have a safe and happy summer!

About North Star Pool

Established in 1961, the North Star Swim Club is an established, family oriented swim club located in a quiet, park-like setting. North Star features a wide variety of swimming activities for members of all ages. Our facilities include a 5-lane, 25-yard pool; a 30’ x 30’ Diving Bay; a fenced Wading Pool; and a dedicated lap lane. A wide variety of social events is scheduled for adults and children throughout the summer. Our covered pavilion and gas grills are available for members’ use. In addition, members may reserve the club for private parties.
